about The humans behind greaterthan studio

We got tired of watching great businesses settle for less. So we built something better.

Greaterthan was built for the businesses we love to work with. The ones creating an impact, building something they care about, and who want a team beside them that actually cares.

our values

We built this studio around four things we genuinely believe in. They shape every project we take on, every decision we make, and every relationship we build.

Be cool to people

Every client we work with deserves to feel heard, respected, and taken care of. We keep the process clear and the experience as fun as we can because that's how we'd want it.

Go all in

We go above and beyond on every project, sometimes to a fault. Our name is on everything we ship and that means even the smallest project gets the same level of care and attention as our biggest.

Help the little guys

We built Greaterthan for the businesses that couldn't get a great web presence without spending a fortune. The impact-driven, the nonprofits, the small businesses, the local legends - the ones doing work that matters.

Stay curious

We stay curious about the businesses we work with. Every client is different and understanding what makes them unique is what drives an outcome that feels genuinely true to their brand.

Matt Stobo

head of digital

Matt is the design and development lead at Greaterthan Studio. The person who takes your ideas, asks the right questions, and turns the whole process into something you didn't know you needed until you see it. He prides himself in capturing what a business is about and translating that excitement into a visual direction that actually that feels unmistakably you.

He's known for his attention to detail, his ability to listen, and his refusal to ship anything he's not genuinely proud of. If something's not working, he'll tell you and he'll bring a better solution with him.

Missy McGee

Project manager / business developer

Missy is the reason working with Greaterthan feels so easy. She runs the onboarding, manages the project, keeps everything on track, and somehow makes a process with a lot of moving parts feel completely straightforward.

She brings the kind of calm and organization to every project that makes even the most complex builds feel manageable. She makes every client feel like they're working with an extension of their own team.

Client stories

1 / 5

"As a smaller studio, having a trusted and resourceful partner like Matt (from Greaterthan) is a game-changer. He’s a great collaborator with great vision, who brings great instincts and insights on what’s new in the development landscape to level-up our work. It’s been a pleasure bringing ideas to life with him."
