Hopestory
Hope Story is a Canadian Christian nonprofit that has spent over 20 years partnering with local churches to transform the lives of vulnerable children around the world through education, health care, and discipleship. Their new site needed to tell that story with enough clarity and heart to move people to donate, and make it effortless for them to do so.

Strategy
The strategy centred on one outcome: donations. We built the site around the real stories of the children Hope Story serves, because the most powerful thing a nonprofit can do is make their cause feel human. Every page was designed to create an emotional connection to the mission and remove every barrier between that feeling and a donation.

The new site delivered meaningful improvements across every metric that matters for a donation-driven organisation: increased donations, improved donor retention, and longer session durations as visitors engaged more deeply with Hope Story's mission. The brand was also rolled out consistently across all social channels, giving the organisation a cohesive presence everywhere their community finds them.

Working with Matt on our Hope Story website was a turning point for us. It’s a big, complex project with multiple global partners, detailed storytelling, and a lot of backend integration. He inherited this project from another developer, but when he stepped in, everything just felt more grounded.
What stood out right away was how deeply he LISTENED. He didn’t come in with a fixed way of doing things or try to override our vision. He took the time to understand our pain points, our mission, and the nuances of how we work as an organization. Instead of pushing, he partnered, and that posture made all the difference.
He created a rhythm that brought clarity and peace to the process. We had regular check-ins, open communication, and a genuine willingness to be available whenever questions came up.
You could feel that he cared, not just about delivering a website, but about serving the people and the MISSION behind our work.
Even now, after the site is live, that support hasn’t disappeared. Matt continues to show up, and that kind of care is rare.I can confidently say that Matt is someone you can trust. He goes above and beyond to deliver on his commitments while making you feel supported every step of the way. Personally, working with Matt never felt like a transaction; it felt like we had someone in our corner
